SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

The School lays considerable emphasis on Co-Curricular activities with the ultimate aim of developing all round personalities of the young growing children. Sports, games, physical training, public speaking and dramatics are regular feature of the school life.

The school provides opportunities for some of these activities:- (1). Literary Activities - Debates, Recitation, Creative Writing etc.

(2). Scientific Activities – Club Activities, Experimentation, Exploration etc

(3). Cultural Activities - Music, Drama, Dance etc.

(4). Adventurous Activities – Mountaineering, Skiing, Rafting, Hikes etc.

The students of class VI onwards are required to select atleast one activity from among the Literacy, Scientific, Cultural & Adventurous Activities as offered by the school. The school is also having House System and divided into four houses.

GAMES

Exercise for the mind needs to be complemented by exercise for the body. With this firm belief, the school provides facilities to play the following games Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, TableTennis, Athletics P.T., Gymnastics etc. The students are being sent to participate in the District Sports and various types of games, matches conducted by other Council Schools also.

ACADEMIC FACILITIES

Library The school has a well- stocked library which is updated every year. A whole range of Encyclopedia facilitate wide ranging and in depth research work, giving students a tremendous advantage with regard to the reference projects made compulsory by the Board. Periodical, Journals and Magazines on many subjects help the students to spend many hours expanding their knowledge.

Laboratories

The School has modern and well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology for practicals and demonstrations.

Computer Center

Computer Education is compulsory right from Class IIIrd onwards and for this there is a Computer Center with competent staff and modern latest hardware backup by a lot of softwares.

SCHOOL RULES

Every student should buy the school diary and carry it to the school each day. Student must wear the prescribed school uniform (Summer/Winter).Defaulters in this respert are liable to be debarred from attending the classes. Students which are absent from school even for a day are required ti bring an application frim their parents/guardians,explaining the cause of absence. If a student is continuously absent for seven days, without getting the leave sanctioned,his/her name will be struck off from the rolls. The price of the school furniture, equipment, apparatus,glass panes or other school property, demaged by a student due to carelessness will be charged from the parents. On their way to and from school students are expected to conduct themselves in a becoming manner. At a parent-Teacher meetings, all parents should deen it their duty to be present and to check on the progress of their children. A child who is suffering from an infectious disease will not be allowed to attend the school.parents or Guardains are not allowed to meet teachers during school hours without the prior permission of the principal. Parents and Guardians are requested to notify the school of any change of address or telephone number. The school will not be responsible for loss of personal property brought by students. The principle is empowered to rusticate or suspend or remove a student from the roll of the school on grounds of indisicipline, use of unfair means in examinations, misbehaviour, gross neglect of academic work or frequent absence from classes without leave, without prior notice to parents. Lending or borrowing of money is strictly prohibited. Students are advised not to buy any food articles from any unauthorized street vendor. A student who fails for the second time in his/her total stay at Pine Hall School will be withdrawn from the school on academic grounds. Games, sports and physical training is compulsory for all students. Exemption is only allowed on medical ground. Strict action shall be taken againsts who are regular late comers. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the school. If found the same may be confiscated by the school authority. Students without valid driving license are not allowed to use any two of four wheeler, to and from school. It is also compulsory for the two wheeler rider to wear a helmet.

WITHDRAWAL

Notice of withdrawl should be given by the parents or guardians, atleast one month in advance else one month's fee will be charged in lieu of notice or security will be forteited. No transfer Certificate will be issued until all dues to the school are paid. Application for the TC must be in writing and signed by the parent/guardian. The security will be refunded only on the production of receipt at the time of withdrawl. The security should be collected within six months of leaving the school. No claim would be entertained after the stipulated time. If a child is withdrawn in March. No further fee will be charged if the notice is given by 15th of February. The students leaving school in May must pay the fees for May & June and those leaving in December must pay the fees for December & January.

FEE STRUCTURE

The fee structure of the school for day scholars is as per Appendix 'A' attached along with the prospectus.

FEE RULES

Fee will be accepted in the bank by 8th of every month and thereafter it will be accepted in the school office with a fine of Rs 20/-till the end of the month.

If fees are not paid within the month when due then the name of the student shall be struck off without notice and re-admission is granted on payment of school dues alongwith readmission charges of Rs 500/-

Students shall not be permitted to sit for the terminal or final examinations unless fee dues are
